Description

StormPRO Corrugated Polypropylene Pipe (SN8) is a heavy-duty, twin-wall pipe system for gravity stormwater and drainage infrastructure. With a smooth bore and corrugated external wall, StormPRO balances high flow performance with structural strength — ideal for civil, roads, subdivisions, rail and industrial sites where fast installation and durability matter.

Manufactured to AS/NZS 5065 (Type B) and rated SN8, StormPRO pipe offers excellent resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and cracking — and is approved for use by MTM and V/Line for track drainage applications. Its low weight and long 6m length help reduce jointing and handling time on site, while offering a 100-year design life and 100% recyclability at end-of-life.

In simple terms: A tough, long-lasting plastic pipe that drains stormwater underground — smooth inside, strong outside, easy to install.

Key features & benefits

  • High performance: Smooth bore promotes fast flow and self-cleaning behaviour
  • Durable twin-wall: Corrugated outer wall resists heavy soil loads and impact
  • Lightweight: ~18% of concrete pipe weight — easier to lift, handle and install
  • Watertight joints: Push-fit spigot/socket ends with rubber ring seal
  • Chemical resistance: Resists acids, alkalis and leachate in aggressive ground

Applications

  • Roads – infrastructure, stormwater, asset renewal
  • Rail – trackside stormwater and culvert drainage
  • Mining – chemical and sediment runoff handling
  • Rural – culverts, land drainage and crossings
  • Land development – residential and industrial subdivisions
