Description
VicRoads Concrete Single Flushout Riser (SD 1631)
The VicRoads Concrete Single Flushout Riser is a surface access point for cleaning and inspection of subsurface/pavement drains that complies with VicRoads / DTP Standard Drawing SD 1631. It enables jetting and debris removal while protecting the pavement structure.
Two formats are available: a compact 450mm x 450mm unit and a larger 950mm x 850mm “with apron” unit for increased surface bearing and access. Units are manufactured from high-strength precast concrete for durability and low maintenance in road and civil environments.
Need two access points? See the Double Flushout Riser.
Key features & benefits
- SD 1631 compliant: Matches VicRoads/DTP detailing for single flushout risers and covers.
- Maintenance access: Provides a jetting/inspection point to clear blockages and maintain subsoil drains.
- Durable precast: Concrete body and lid for long service life and minimal upkeep.
- Two sizes: 450mm x 450mm, or 950mm x 850mm with apron for greater bearing and stability.
- System-ready: Coordinates with SD 1611 subsurface pits and SD 1641 alternative arrangements.
Applications
- Subsoil drainage beneath pavements and shoulders on road and civil projects.
- Roads & infrastructure requiring VicRoads/DTP standard maintenance access.
